By using this website or making a reservation with Loving Heart Retreats, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Reservations and Payment
Reservations are subject to availability and are confirmed only after the required payment has been successfully processed and a confirmation has been issued.
Guests are responsible for reviewing reservation dates, accommodation selection, occupancy limits, rates, taxes, fees, and policies before completing a booking.
Reservations made through Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, or another third-party platform are also subject to that platform’s terms and policies.
2. Cancellation Policy
For reservations booked directly through Loving Heart Retreats:
- Cancellations made at least 30 days before check-in are eligible for a full refund of the amount paid.
- Cancellations made 14–29 days before check-in are eligible for a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made fewer than 14 days before check-in are nonrefundable.
Third-party reservations are governed by the cancellation policy displayed on the booking platform.
If Loving Heart Retreats must close the property because conditions are determined to be unsafe, guests will receive a refund for the nights affected by the closure.
3. Reservation Changes
Reservation changes are subject to availability, current rates, and a $75 modification fee per transaction. Promotional pricing or packages may no longer apply after a reservation is changed.
Guests who booked through a third-party platform must request changes through that platform.
4. Check-In and Check-Out
Standard check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM.
Early check-in and late check-out may be available with advance approval. The current fee is $65 per additional hour. These options are not guaranteed until confirmed in writing.
5. Guests and Occupancy
The number of overnight guests may not exceed the occupancy limit shown for the selected accommodation. All guests must be included in the reservation.
Unregistered visitors, parties, commercial photography, retreats, workshops, or other organized events require prior written approval.
Guests are responsible for the conduct of everyone included in their reservation.
6. Dogs and Service Animals
Up to two dogs are permitted per accommodation, subject to the current pet fee and property policy. Dogs must be declared when the reservation is made.
Dogs must be supervised, non-aggressive, under control, and current on required vaccinations. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs and for any damage or disturbance they cause.
Dogs may not be left unattended. Cats and other animals are not permitted unless required by applicable service-animal laws.
Service animals are accommodated in accordance with applicable law.
7. Property Rules
Loving Heart Retreats is designed as a peaceful Hill Country getaway. Guests must respect quiet hours, neighboring accommodations, staff instructions, posted signs, and all safety requirements.
Unauthorized parties, excessive noise, disruptive conduct, illegal activity, smoking where prohibited, and unauthorized fires or fire equipment are not permitted.
Fire features may be restricted because of weather, burn bans, or safety conditions.
Loving Heart Retreats reserves the right to end a stay without refund when a guest creates a safety risk, seriously disturbs others, damages the property, or repeatedly violates property rules.
8. Damage and Additional Charges
Guests are responsible for damage, excessive cleaning, missing property, unauthorized guests or animals, and other costs resulting from their stay.
Loving Heart Retreats may charge the payment method associated with the reservation for documented costs permitted by law and the applicable booking agreement.
9. Outdoor and Natural Conditions
Loving Heart Retreats is located in a natural, rural environment. Guests may encounter uneven terrain, steps, wildlife, insects, changing weather, limited cellular service, and other conditions associated with outdoor lodging.
Guests are responsible for using reasonable care, wearing appropriate footwear, supervising children and animals, and following safety instructions.
Amenities, Wi-Fi, utilities, outdoor features, and views may occasionally be affected by weather, maintenance, service interruptions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
10. Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, guests accept the ordinary risks associated with outdoor lodging and use of the property.
Loving Heart Retreats is not responsible for loss, theft, injury, delay, interruption, or damage caused by a guest’s conduct, failure to follow instructions, natural conditions, third parties, or events beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
11. Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to keep website descriptions, photographs, amenities, availability, and pricing accurate. Minor differences may occur because of maintenance, seasonal conditions, property improvements, or updates.
Website content may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without written permission.
12. Privacy
Personal information collected through our website, contact forms, and reservation systems is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Reservations may be processed through third-party providers, including ResNexus, which maintain their own privacy and security practices.
13. Changes to These Terms
Loving Heart Retreats may update these terms periodically. The version in effect when a direct reservation is made will generally apply to that reservation unless a change is required by law or agreed to by the guest.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in an appropriate court with jurisdiction in Texas, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
